Fees and Funding

All 3 and 4-year-olds who live in England are entitled to 570 hours of funded childcare a year from the term after their 3rd birthday (usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks) irrespective of income levels, benefit status, or family circumstances. 

If you are a working family, your 3 or 4 year old may be entitled to an additional 570 hours a year, sometimes referred to as 30 hours or extended entitlement. To see if you are eligible log on to https://beststartinlife.gov.uk/ and complete the Chilcare Checker. You must apply for funding the term before you want to use the additional hours and you will need to reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months. 

You may have to pay for extra costs such as:

• meals
• additional hours
• additional activities, such as trips
  Ask your provider what extra costs you will have to pay for.

At Oasis Shirley Park Primary we offer part-time (15 hour a week} and full-time (30 hour a week) Nursery places. Our Nursery caters for children in the year before they start Reception and children join in the September after their 3rd birthday.
